Global satellite communication provider NSSLGlobal Ltd, in conjunction with Telemar Scandinavia, announced the immediate free-of-charge upgrade on their network return speeds for Standard and Premium Packages.
The advancements, offered to all NSSLGlobal customers, will improve the Standard Package from 1Mb/256k to 1Mb/384k, while the Premium Package doubles from 4Mb/512k to 4Mb/1Mb.
NSSLGlobal and Telemar recognised the changing needs associated with internet usage, especially with the rise of cloud computing and need for sending data via the likes of Amazon Cloud, DropBox or WeTransfer. New technologies have also become more common in customers day-to-day lifestyles, such as Tablets and Smartphones, which means there is a necessity for a higher return capacity. The companies continued product enhancements enable them to continually provide customers with the best service. With the new network improvements resulting from the recent introduction of ACM (Adaptive Coding Modulation) combined with the new DVB-RCS2 standard across VSAT network hubs enhances 2-way satellite link efficiencies as well as reduce the impact of Rain Fade.
