- GUARDIAN is CE certified and integrated into a ruggedised below deck enclosure which is easy to wire and quick to install, and comes with ADU
- VHF Radio combined with a satcom terminal and powerful 6W speaker, dual watch, tri-watch and scanning.
- Resilient hardware: using voice, SMS, and tracking services. Cable runs up to 500m, control unit handset, SIP phone and easily concealed active antenna
- The UPS battery enables the Anti-Piracy unit to stay powered in the Citadel even if the ship’s main power is cut.

The Anti-Piracy system is an integral element of a citadel which is a designated space built to resist forced entry. The Internation Maritime Organisation (IMO) recommendations include maintaining oncoard independent power and communication, buying valuable time to protect the crew and possibly prevent a hostage situation.
NSSLGlobal’s GUARDIAN Anti-Piracy unit will help you fulfill your IMO requirements keeping your crew to keep in contact with the authorities, using a satcom terminal and a VHF radio. Even if the power is cut off the Anti-Piracy system will enable a period of battery-operated functionality.
- UPS batteries enable the GUARDIAN to stay powered even if the ships main power supply is cut, ensuring the captain and crew remain in contact with the authorities and their HQ.
- Standard 2 x 12Ah batteries can last for 72 hours idle or 24 hours in RX. TX battery life depends on the usage. Contact the product team if this is raised.
- Optional larger 28Ah batteries are available but are not compatible with the transit case.
The ruggedised felt lined case has been designed for portability between vessels.
