NSSLGlobal Ltd, the independent service provider of satellite communications, has opened a new network operations centre in Cornwall at the Pool Innovation Centre.
The office is a result of NSSLGlobal’s on-going expansion and its investment in providing customers with 24 hour, seven day a week technical support. Located in the Redruth district of Cornwall, the new office hosts six support engineers and also serves as a backup and disaster recovery centre to the main Headquarters in Surrey. NSSLGlobal Ltd has been in the satellite business for over 40 years. With a wide range of services and extensive experience of systems integration, network management and application development, their focus is on providing satellite communication and IT solutions to the Military and Government, Maritime, Energy, Media, Finance and Corporate sectors. The new Cornwall centre is an important step in the company’s plans to deliver the most seamless, integrated and safe service available internationally.
Julie Knowles, Operations Director at NSSLGlobal Ltd, comments, “Choosing Cornwall as the location to host our new office was an easy decision. It enabled us to take advantage of the large assembly of maritime and satellite resources within the area, and the Pool Innovation Centre provided the ideal base to station our new office.”
Richard Scutt, Manager at the Pool Innovation Centre, added; “It’s great to have NSSLGlobal stationed at our office. Hosting a global company, with a small dedicated team is a great representation of how we can cater to both existing and start-up organisations.”
In addition to the office in Cornwall, NSSLGlobal has recently opened a new office in Singapore to serve a growing client base in the Far East. While NSSLGlobal already operates a 24/7 network operations centre, the Singapore office, managed by Priya Patel, will allow NSSLGlobal to provide in country support to its Asia customer base.
