Logistics & CAT Specialist

About the role:

NSSLGlobal AS is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day logistic operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods, warehouse operation, purchase order, invoicing, reporting to the head of Logistic and CAT.

Key Tasks
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the logistics and supply chain process.
  • Manage inventory and ensure accuracy in stock records.
  • Collaborate with vendors and shipping companies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Shipment preparation including packing and shipping documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, including shipping and customs forms.
  • Purchase order, invoicing, and warehouse operation.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience using Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) will be an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize logistics processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian for effective interaction with team members, vendors, and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify issues and implement solutions to improve logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of logistics and transportation regulations, including import/export requirements and customs documentation.
  • Commitment to providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities in a dynamic logistics environment.
  • Experience with Export Control, Dangerous Goods and Letter of Credits will be an advantage.
